What is a cork?

Each year, area businesses donate gift certificates, merchandise, services and various other items to be added to our list of prizes at A Splash of Care Affair . These items are valued at either $50 or $100 and assigned a corresponding cork. At the event, guests may purchase a $50 or $100 cork and are guaranteed a prize at that value. Yes, it is a mystery as to what you will receive, but you also have the option to trade your item with another guest or at the "trading post" located the Corks table.

About this Site

The Atlanta Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta raises money each year to benefit CURE, a non-profit organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through research, education and support of patients and their families. Until there is a cure for every child diagnosed with cancer - CURE will be there and Tri Delta will be there to lend support! Over $1 million has been raised by the Atlanta Tri Deltas for children's cancer research.


In addition to supporting CURE, 10% of the money raised during Care Affair also benefits the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter Scholarship fund through the Delta Delta Delta Foundation. This fund allows us to provide scholarships to both collegians and alumnae who are from the Atlanta area. We also support our collegians by providing a Leadership Scholarship to a deserving young woman to attend an event to broaden her leadership skills. We appreciate your continued support throughout the years that has allowed us to give back to our community in more than one way.
